Guess what? This cake live up to its name! It’s refreshing, soft, light, fluffy, sweet and tangy (from the fruits). With this kind of glamorize name and as the most famous and bestselling cake from Châteraisé, I expected it to be real good. Most probably because this vanilla mille crepe reminds me of the one I had at Nadeje. I thought I will be wowed by it since it’s one of the bestseller. No idea why they called this mille crepe White Zebra. This time I also bought three cakes and I grabbed another mochi cream cake flavor to try. cherry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry) were on offer. Then last week, I went again to Isetan FoodMarket because all those berries (e.g. Gotta say the mochi cream cake is the clear winner.Īfter shopping, I came back to Châteraisé and bought three of their cakes. It’s sort of two sponge layers glued together by camembert cheese and walnut bits. Since it’s Mont Blanc, you get a chestnut in the mochi too. It was so soft and fluffy… like a pillow of cloud. I tried the mochi cream cake first and I was immediately hooked. ![]() □īecause I was hungry (I swear!), I immediately bought their mochi cream cake Mont Blanc and horaku Camembert & walnut (RM4.80). Step aside young girl, let this grown-up kiddo order first. Fyi Châteraisé at KLCC opened on 26th March 2016. Turns out it was right here in at Isetan FoodMarket. I sort of have a faint idea (read from somewhere) that a new pastry shop has landed in KLCC but I didn’t know where. Meanwhile Royce has shifted beside Miki Ojisan No Mise. And I found Caffe Gino has relocated to Royce’s location. I quickly noted that this Japanese pastry shop called Châteraisé シャトレーゼ has occupy the space previously held by Caffe Gino. And when I unconsciously made an upward curve of my lips, yup the lure were successful. With eyes widen (am I seeing things? Nope!), I started doing few laps of victory dance (thank goodness only in my imagination). ![]() Two weeks plus back I was at Isetan FoodMarket (supermarket) to grab few punnets of cherries that were on sale when I stumbled upon many many CAKES!!! The colorful cakes were oh-so-sparkling and calling “come and get me”.
